With near-infinite opinions, articles and LinkedIn posts about GTM engineering and how GTM is evolving, here's my favorite content, open roles and a growth hack from the last week
⚙️ Hey - this is a free edition of The GTM Engineer, where we share the hidden stories, tactics, and mental models defining the rise of the GTM Engineer and AI in go to market.
Here’s the 2nd gtm engineer roundup of our favorite posts, open roles and the top growth hack over the last week.
One stand out this week was Pave’s CEO, Matt Schulman, sharing their analysis of the “GTM engineer” job title, looking at 10,000 companies worth of data. He wrote: “The trend is indeed pointing towards a rapid adoption of the new “GTM Engineer” position.”
As always, shoot me an email if you have any ideas / feedback about content.
Favorite resources from the week:
Favorite GTM engineering roles from the week:
Rippling (all-in-one employee management software with >$1B raised) is hiring a senior cold outbound growth manager (SF/NY - come work with me!)
Pendo (>$400M raised as they build a software experience management platform) is hiring for a GTM Engineer (SF / Raleigh, NC)

My favorite growth hack of the week:
I interviewed Brian Swichkow a few weeks back (pod dropping week of 7/21), and he shared the best growth prank I have heard. He ran hyper targeted FB retargeting ads to only 1 person: his sword swallowing roommate. The copy: “Trouble swallowing pills? Does it seem ironic that swallowing swords is easy and then small pills make you gag?” The full story here
